Standard quilt sizes range from one textile artist to the next and even from one project to the next, depending on the needs of the quilt and the recipient.
When my babies received quilts as infants it wasn’t long before the beloved “blankies” were too short for mutual cuddling and coverage. Therefore, when I began making baby quilts, I opted to make mine tad larger than the size stated on the chart below.
Unless agreed to prior to quilt construction, our baby quilts are a finished size of 40″x 50″. These quilts run an average of $185.00 – $225.00, without embroidery *.
“Big Kid” or Toddler Quilts are also available and are a finished size of 50″x60″. These quilts run an average of $210.00 – $250.00, without embroidery *.
